@_GFY__ @courtside35 @POTUS I work for a municipal fire department and have been required to pay into SS my entire career, along with pension. Before this, all things being equal, I would receive reduced benefits compared to someone in the private sector, even if we contributed the same.

@mrgrizbear1 @POTUS As a current Firefighter for a city, I currently and have always been required to pay into social security and my pension. Now I can receive my full SS benefits, just like you, when I do retire. Before this was repealed, I could not, despite paying into it my whole career.
