These numbers are a bit outdated. I'd bet they are even more extreme today.

Many prominent crypto founders lead us to believe that you don't need friends: just trade crypto, live on Telegram/Discord, make your bag, & isolate yourself from society.

This mindset is harmful.

Ironically, NFTs can counteract this by fostering real friendships. There's incredible value in promoting face-to-face events. NFTs can serve as access passes to such gatherings, helping people connect offline in meaningful ways.

I like listening to podcasts, and I've noticed a trend over the past year: many notable shows grow their audience online, then double down on these relationships by promoting in-person summits. After building a strong online presence, they enhance connections through face-to-face events, reinforcing the bond with their audience.

As the world becomes more "online," the craving for direct human interaction will only grow.
