@SpencerColeturf@DishonMatthew@MarcSnyder86939 …I was well into the night when I was met on the 13th green by Naperville’s finest saying a neighbor had reported somebody on the course. He was satisfied enough that nothing was wrong, but I’m certain he couldn’t have been more confused about what I was trying to accomplish.
@SpencerColeturf@DishonMatthew@MarcSnyder86939 I did an audit of the greens when I was there, and did each green head individually. By the time cans were set, water ran, cans measured and reset then moved on to the rest of the heads, it took many hours for each green….
We tasked @AndyTFE with an architecture Q&A to begin 2025. Read about what project he's most excited to follow, where he wants to visit, and plenty more

Add Wolf River Golf Park to your next Northern Michigan golf trip.
Here's the incredible story of how superintendent Steven Biehl transformed Bear Lake Highlands into an affordable golfing playground
❤️Bear Lake is the first place I ever teed it up for 18. Same for my son. The new Wolf River is a blast and a must play for anyone in the area. Kudos to all involved in the renovation
#MiStory episode 18 features @wolfrivergreens and the amazing transformation from Bear Lake County Highlands to the new @WolfRiverGolf in Bear Lake Michigan, and of course collecting tractors...
@paleo111 @iTweetTurf On rigid surfaces, the rolling resistance force is independent of speed, (think train car wheel on train track, both surfaces are rigid). If one surface is not rigid (turf surface) rolling resistance does depend on speed.
@ccdetroitGCS Agreed! I have never heard golfers say “it is so fun to play!” as much as I have in the last 5 weeks. If golfers have a chance to experience it, they get it. Higher handicap players have more fun, lower handicap players find it more challenging with more shot options. @mdvessely
@nle_golf@greatlakesloops We are looking forward to golfers reactions this season. It will look and play very different than what golfers typically experience in northern MI.
