You can easily get a multimeter for $10 on Amazon. If you’re intimidated by using one, just set it to 2000 ohms and that’s it (as seen in the pic of this $10 unit). $10 is better than having to replace your beloved GameCube for significantly more 2/2
To those of you considering doing the laser calibration on your GameCube - do NOT do it without a multimeter
I keep seeing posts about “just a tiny turn and you’re good to go!” Subsequently I’ve seen tons of posts of people frying them as a result of doing it blind 1/
I’ve played nearly every RPG for the SNES, the best RPG library ever made
But one of the most underrated top down RPGs is Albert Odyssey: Legend of Eldean for the Sega Saturn. Not only the best in the series, the Saturn’s hardware cranks up the graphics
Anyone else play it?
Ok, if I power on the Sega Saturn with the left or right button on the d-pad pressed, it boots up fine and the game plays but if I don’t do that, the boot up screen is fractured
Really want to play “backups” but not sure how with it this way
In my opinion (which is an unpopular one), The Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask is the superior Zelda game on the Nintendo 64.
Yes, that’s right, I speak sacrilegiously of Ocarina of Time!
Majora’s Mask is better looking, it’s more challenging in a fun way, and simply amazing 💜
Finally setting everything up! Won’t be doing cable management for now since this isn’t permanent. A second 4 way switcher arrived today so I can get the PS2, N64, Saturn and Sega Master System connected
But it’ll never be the same without my 3DO, Duo-R or Dreamcast - RIP
@Comicbookfan__ I’ll check them out! I downloaded the arcade version of Shinobi that was ported to the NEO•GEO on my NEOSD and it brought back so many memories of the arcade
Alright friends, I’ve had a Sega Master System for about 10 years and I only own Afterburner and Ghostbusters
What are the must-play games for the console?
If Europe preferred it to the NES, it must be worth playing 👍🏻
