@amerz087 @techmidschteach @amazon I read a lot of books the first day. My favorite is If At First You Do Not See. It is a great book that asks them to notice things aren’t always as they seem. It kicks off a science lab where they do observations.

@SteelCityHelps No- I keep a basket of sharpened pencils that students can get at anytime. I also give each student 5 pencils and a sharpener for their backpack.
