I know some people are feeling hopeful because they highlighted “dog” (which, personally, feels incredibly rude to our majestic wolf 😭), but please don’t mistake gamescom for some kind of official press conference.

They’re exhibiting their product at a gaming convention. The people working the booth may very well be staff hired specifically for the event, which means they probably won’t have the authority—or even the information—to answer questions about Valko or internal company decisions.

So if you attend, have fun and advocate respectfully if an appropriate opportunity arises, but please manage your expectations and be kind to the staff.

We’ve been doing this for weeks. The last thing I want is for the pack to build up enormous expectations around gamescom only to come away hurt and disappointed again.

Stay levelheaded. Stay respectful. Hope is wonderful, but let’s keep our feet firmly on the ground. 🤍🐺

I actually think we should leave them alone. Let them go.

It would be WAY more impactful (both from a protest standpoint and media coverage) to let them attend, and have a shitton of Valko cosplayers and event-goer's visually display their dissatisfaction in front of the booth and around the con than to just erase them out of sight, IMO. 😂

But maybe that's just what little ol' me wants to see while I sip my coffee and eat my popcorn while the event is running. 😏
