@deathinparadise I've never heard them before! Only the tune. Im sure I have watched every single episode ever and can't remember ever hearing lyrics. My conspiracy theory is shot down instantly. Thank god!
@MichaelVaughan@bbctms Please tell Aggers to stop going on about the Canberra game. 12 days ago I agreed but I listened to people who know more than I do about the game in Australia, Now I think they were correct. Aggers is a national treasure but can be cancelled! 🤣
@tmsproducer@bbctms Please let comms know. Umpires call only applies to the part of the delivery that is predicted and not the part that actually happened. No margin for error on something that actually happens but there is for the predicted part.
@WardyShorts I'd love him to be involved in Lancs, I listened to the podcast this morning. BUT he does need to accept that people outside cricket who understand business and younger cricket people must have a say in decisions. He has great ideas but they need to be tempered and modernised.
How anyone could find #TestCricket boring and prefer T20 is beyond me. What a day at @HomeOfCricket It got better and better as the day went on. Set up for a tense day 5 @ICC@IPL
@Jonatha02209881@GFoxyFowler Oh, I know. I think he played in the 6th Test, yes 6th, of the 1981 Ashes. Then into the wilderness until the 1989 Ashes debacle and subsequent SA rebel tour decimated the England team.
Is it OK if @englandcricket borrow Shamar Joseph for the Ashes tour of Australia later this year? This guy seems to come alive when there is an Aussie batter 22 yds away. @ICC@windiescricket@CricketAus
@Ollie_Riv95 @norcrosscricket Yes, I agree. It's called a test for a reason. One team managed themselves well and one didn't. A football analogy could be, if the keeper hadn't saved all 5 of the striker's shots on target, we would have won 5-4. But he did and we lost 0-4. It's all part of the game.
@Ollie_Riv95 @norcrosscricket Look at recent Tests and County games at Headingley. There have been some remarkable 4th innings chases. The wicket is worst in session 1 then gets better. With England's recent form and Headingley stats, I'd rather be batting last than bowling last.
@Ollie_Riv95 @norcrosscricket How do you come to that conclusion????? Have you watched the same Headingley Test Matches as the rest of us over recent times? India probably would have chased the same total given the chance. I remember 80's Headingley, bowl first, always. Not now.
