On behalf of the Parliament of Uganda and on my own behalf, I wish to express my heartfelt condolences to His Lordship the Chief Justice and the Judiciary fraternity,
the family, relatives and friends of Soroti Chief Magistrate Her Worship Margaret Aanyu upon her untimely death.

In her passing , the country has lost a great towering legal mind who has served with boundless dedication and commitment.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
