🚨 There’s a large-scale supply chain attack in progress: the NPM account of a reputable developer has been compromised. The affected packages have already been downloaded over 1 billion times, meaning the entire JavaScript ecosystem may be at risk.

The malicious payload works by silently swapping crypto addresses on the fly to steal funds.

If you use a hardware wallet, pay attention to every transaction before signing and you're safe.

If you don’t use a hardware wallet, refrain from making any on-chain transactions for now.

It’s still unclear whether the attacker is also stealing seeds from software wallets directly at this stage.

I’ve been diving into the current agent landscape and one thing’s clear:

We’re finally moving past the reinventing the wheel phase of Web3 #AI.

A few years ago, everyone was trying to bolt GPT-like agents onto blockchains.

Now a new architecture is emerging: MCP x A2A

▶️ MCP (Model Context Protocol) is all about giving agents tool access securely.

You can think of it as Stripe for #AI Agents plug into whatever tool you need, no need to rebuild each time.

Projects are all laying the bricks here.

[1] @DeMCP_AI → Decentralized server registry, with TEE and tokenized dev incentives

[2] @DeepCore_io → No-code agent builder with web scrapers, LLM orchestrators, and server verification baked in

[3] @DPSN_org → Real-time data layer for agents (on-chain + off-chain streams)

[4] @EliteAgents_AI → “Shopify for AI Agents” with quick monetization for server tools

They key unlock here is that blockchain adds trust, rewards, and censorship resistance, exactly what Web2 plugin markets lack.

▶️ A2A (Agent-to-Agent protocol) → introduced by Google → picks up where MCP ends.

If #MCP is agent ↔ server, A2A is agent ↔ agent.

Agents can now coordinate tasks, pass context, and collaborate without sharing their internal state.

Like Slack for #AI, but with instructions instead of messages.

▶️ What’s wild is how this all comes together:

- MCP: gives agents tools
- A2A: lets agents work together
- Crypto: adds incentives + composability
- ZK/TEE/FHE: keeps the whole thing secure

We’re not fully there yet.

Most current “agent infra” is still centralized, repo-wrapping GitHub tools and calling it a marketplace.

But that’s changing.

▶️ @cz_binance’s recent call to build #MCP servers on #BNB Chain signals a shift.

Soon, every dApp could expose itself as an MCP server.

Every LLM Agent could be a client, selecting tools dynamically based on latency, price, or relevance.

On May 30, @FragbiteGroup announced that it had sold its subsidiaries @LuckyKatStudios and @wagmi_labs Ltd. to @4plusVentures and Swiss Peak Ventures GmbH for a total of SEK 1.94 million (approximately €170,000).
The purpose of the transaction was to eliminate the negative cash flow from the Web3 segment and to give the Lucky Kat and Wagmi teams, products, and communities the opportunity to grow in a more Web3-focused environment.

What does the sale of Lucky Kat mean for its future?
