Today is Trans Day of Remembrance🏳️⚧️
We honour those whose lives were lost and stand against hatred and discrimination.
We all need to work together in the fight against transphobia
Over the past year, in the UK alone, over 300 trans people have been reported murdered. 95% of those killed globally are trans women. 65% of those who’s race is reported are people of colour.
TRANS DAY OF REMEMBRANCE VIGIL
We'll be holding a vigil at 6:30pm, in Radcliffe Square, on Sunday 20th November, to honour those who have lost their lives to anti-trans violence this year.
It is open to all to attend, so please drop by to show support for the trans community.

For Episode 2, we were treated to not one but two guests, the co-chairs of @womcam! Disha Hegde and Lucy Sarell chatted to us about running the campaign, JCR politics, and applying to Oxford in lockdown.
Airing on: @OxideRadioLive

Amazing news!
Across the UK, 1 in 10 girls report being unable to afford period products.
Sanitary products are a necessity. People who menstruate should not have to miss school or work due to period poverty.
We call on all Oxford colleges to also take this step.
Scotland makes public health history by becoming the first country in the world to protect the legal right to free period products

The protest in Oxford today. Oxford University needs to put an end to the practice of using NDAs to silence survivors. @StJohnsOx still hasn’t signed on to the NDA pledge. We shouldn’t need to be protesting for our own safety.
