@stripe @patrickc @stripe disables the merchant from making refund policy decisions for their own small business and enables large banks to profit off of insufficiently handled disputes and hidden agenda tucked neatly behind conveniently wordy terms and conditions, with no accountability.

@stripe I wonder if this is how @patrickc and the @stripe team intended for their platform to work. By washing your hands of a faulty dispute process, allowing big banks, whom I did not permit to access my Stripe account, make the decisions and keep them secret from the merchant...

@CodeValentina @stripe We have had similar experience with @stripe customer service and could not believe how incredibly useless those phone calls were. So frustrating to receive such unreliable support.

@stripe I sent you a DM, though we are not optimistic to think your company is interested in helping us in this matter, as we have spent way too much time on the phone with your customer service which proved fruitless.

@golders_greener @stripe @stripe allowed about $1,000 removed from our account during the dispute. With no explanation, they said it was final. Client still has product and we have a no-refund policy that was completely undermined.

@slowagovan @stripe I am so sorry to hear this. Something similar happened to us through the @stripe platform, and they refunded a customers disputed order that they still have all the product for. Nearly $1,000s lost for our small business, despite our no-refund policy.
