그룹 '세븐틴' 멤버 13명 전원이 소속사 플레디스 엔터테인먼트와 두 번째 재계약했다. 세븐틴 총괄 리더 에스쿱스는 5일 오후 인천아시아드주경기장에서 열린 월드투어 '세븐틴 월드 투어 [뉴_] 앙코르(SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] ENCORE)'의 마지막 공연 앙코르에서 이 같이 밝혔다.

잘 알려진 것처럼 세븐틴 작명의 공식은 '13(멤버)+3(유닛)+1(하나의 팀, 캐럿)=17(세븐틴)'이다. 보컬, 퍼포먼스, 힙합 등 서로 다른 능력과 강점을 가진 멤버들이 서로 배우고 어우러지면서 '팀 세븐틴' 색깔이 나오기 시작했다. 데뷔 6주년을 맞았던 2021년 일찌감치 재계약을 했다. 11년 동안 멤버 탈퇴나 교체 없이 13인 완전체를 유지하고 있다.
