it costs us nothing to be kind. he already apologized, and even native koreans have explained the word from their cultural and linguistic perspectives, yet some people are still throwing excessive hate and even bringing up unrelated things that are completely unnecessary. at this point, it honestly feels like some were simply waiting for a reason to drag eunseok and riize as a whole.
everyone makes mistakes. what matters is whether we reflect, learn from them, and grow wiser afterward.
i believe eunseok has learned from this experience and will do better moving forward. and as fans, i think we also need to remember that language and expressions often come with cultural context. understanding each other should go both ways instead of expecting only one side to adjust every time.
whether you continue supporting eunseok and riize as six members or not is entirely your choice. but as for me, i love and support all of them. if that no longer aligns with you, then it’s probably best to unfollow my account.
This is seriously making me mad and im not even korean nor am i fan of rize.
But how are foreigners, judging if a korean word is racist or not ? A korean word omg that they inderstand nothinnng about it
this is why i wish more people would just stop and listen, it’s not my language and it’s not me the slur is targeting. It would be different coming from a nobody but he knows his place as a celebrity and he knows the audience that sees his messages and still chose to send it..
the fact that most of eunseok’s childhood photos were taken while he was outside..when he played on the beach, did a snowboard, went to theme park, took taekwondo class…this kid had a lot of activities what a productive baby😭😭but knowing that those activities were captured well by his parents it just so….🥺🥺eunseok had a great memories to cherished🩶
