Well done to all our fantastic home learners who continue to make the best out of a bad situation. Learning activities are still being posted on Google Classroom every day. Keep up the hard work! #inspiration#HomeLearningUK#GoogleClassroom
Our home learning students were asked to make a poster on the theme of 'Social Distancing'. There were lots of great examples but this is brilliant!

Wood End Academy will close today, as ordered by the government. The government has asked parents to keep their children at home, however they have asked schools to remain open only for those children who absolutely need to attend.
We are able to offer childcare to Wood End pupils in these groups:
If your child has an EHCP.
If you are currently under a Child Protection Plan or Child in Need plan and working with Social Services (this will remain confidential).
It's been another great half term at school! The children have been learning all about the World Wars and have been: cracking codes; designing periscopes; making gas masks; creating videos and of course, learning lots of history skills. Have a great break everyone #rest#learning
