@KimACooper4 @Derrick55096 @w_terrence You will get the ballots for people who have passed away if you never notified them that they died. NOW does that mean you should use that ballot to vote? NO but some did that and were caught as they should have been.
Affirmative action was never a complete answer in the drive towards a more just society. But for generations of students who had been systematically excluded from most of America’s key institutions—it gave us the chance to show we more than deserved a seat at the table.
In the wake of the Supreme Court’s recent decision, it’s time to redouble our efforts.
It's important to remember what the GOP voted against:
-Minimum wage
-Strengthening gun safety laws
-Taxing the wealthiest firms and the super-rich
-Guaranteeing freedom and equality for women
-Ending the dark money in campaigns
-Providing Medicare for all
-Raising frozen Social Security benefits
-Restoring voter rights
-Funding childcare and sick leave
-Fighting climate change with renewable energy
-Reducing skyrocketing drug prices
-Increasing funding to prosecute corporate crooks.
-GOP has raised the debt ceiling 49 times under Republican presidents without a peep. The GOP was opposed to all of those. They take us for fools, but we will prove them wrong come 2024 elections.
💯% We must defeat these DO-NOTHING Republican’s America's Last Agenda and save America in the 2024 elections.
Indeed, Reagan and the Republican party's policies are responsible for a $50 trillion wealth shift from the middle class to the affluent.
From 1975 to 2018, extreme fiscal measures resulted in a shocking transfer of $50 trillion in wealth from countless Americans to the super-rich. In 1981, the Republicans enacted the then-largest tax cut in history, predominantly aiding the ultra-wealthy.
The Reagan administration allocated trillions to a colossal military buildup, and despite minimal economic growth from Reagan’s substantial tax cuts for the rich, the national debt tripled.
Consequently, more federal debt accumulated than in the whole preceding history of the United States. As per Business Insider, a recent study disclosed that the top 1% has appropriated $50 trillion from working Americans and re-distributed it. The report unveiled that $2.5 trillion is re-allocated annually from the bottom 90% of Americans to the wealthiest 1%.
Regrettably, the results of placing our trust in Republicans for over 30 years have been catastrophic.
-Bill Clinton left us with a $63 billion surplus.
-Republicans' chosen disaster, Bush, burdened us with two unpaid, unnecessary wars and left us with a $3.3 trillion deficit, a severe recession, and a collapse of the housing and stock markets with record unemployment.
-Obama expended trillions to extricate us from the severe recession, regulate unemployment, and protect people's homes from hedge fund predators. He then passed on a thriving economy to Trump.
-Trump awarded $1.7 trillion in tax cuts to the ultra-rich, coasted on Obama's wave, then faltered when faced with the first significant challenge of his presidency. He added $7.8 trillion to our deficit with nothing to show but 8 miles of new wall, which Mexico was purported to fund, and two impeachments in merely 4 years.
President Biden has implemented numerous strategies to restore manufacturing jobs to the United States. Here are some ways he is achieving this:
-Industrial strategy: From his inauguration, President Biden has pursued an industrial strategy to address immediate disruptions due to the global pandemic, rejuvenate the manufacturing base, fortify crucial supply chains, and prepare U.S. workers and businesses to compete and excel globally in the 21st century.
-Long-term resilience: The Biden-Harris Administration is setting the U.S. economy on a trajectory towards enduring resilience across essential supply chains.
-Domestic manufacturing initiative: The administration has proposed a new domestic manufacturing initiative via the Export-Import Bank to support the domestic workforce, emphasizing high-quality, union jobs, and to better compete against China and the rest of the world.
-Investment in microchip manufacturing: President Biden has highlighted plans by Micron to invest in microchip manufacturing.
-$200 billion investment: The Biden administration's efforts have resulted in $200 billion investment in manufacturing jobs.
Job creation: The White House announced that the U.S. has added over 750,000 new manufacturing jobs since Biden took office.
Imagine if Republicans dedicated more effort to issues such as inflation, crime, and the border crisis that they promised working-class Americans, rather than persistently pursuing fruitless investigations and fearmongering.
Bidenomics is working.
The unemployment rate has been under 4% for 16 months in a row. The last time our nation had such a long stretch of low unemployment was in the 1960s.
