”In one word, you reproach us with intending to do away with your property. Precisely so: that is just what we intend.” 🚩Communist with the RCP @revcommunists
A huge gamble for Farage. A huge test for the left.
Farage has called this a "people v the establishment election". The left can only cut across this by being the true anti-establishment voice, not by fighting "hate" with "love".
That means opposing capitalism, telling the truth about Labour's betrayals, and steering clear of a "progressive alliance" with Burnham at all costs.
Someone has just sent me this video of @communistsus on Cuban TV!
Workers of the world stand with Cuba against US imperialism. Always. 🇨🇺✊🏾

Elon Musk, Tommy Robinson, Rupert Lowe and Farage get rich off racism!
These riots, 'stop the boats' and 'hostile environment' rhetoric didn't appear out of thin air. For decades, the political establishment has consciously scapegoated migrants to deflect blame from their own failures. They want working-class people fighting each other so we don't look at them. 1/🧵
We are proud to announce Ehsan Ali, Chairman of the Awami Action Committee Gilgit-Baltistan (AAC-GB), and a leading comrade of the Inqalabi Communist Party (RCP) Pakistan has been freed from jail! Long live international solidarity!

Long Live the Working Class!!
Long live the Revolution!!
Great to see former Shadow Chancellor, John McDonnell (@johnmcdonnellMP), along with Councillor Pamela Fitzpatrick (@pamelafitz4HW) at our protest for Ehsan Ali & the AAC today.
John has also tabled a parliamentary motion calling for justice. Get your MP to sign! 🧵👇
@salsaverse@bolsh3vik@angelfir3d0ll Appreciate the support and the scepticism. I’d say us being able to turn out in force is a result of us selling papers. My branch has recruited 3 people in the past few weeks that we met at stalls. It’s funny that the thing we are most derided for is one of our greatest strengths
@iskrovite Thats because this is on twitter comrade. Our stuff on TikTok, YouTube and instagram generally gets very positive comments etc. Twitter is a cesspool of petit bourgeois, prestige obsessed sectarians who are all in a competition to be ‘the most correct’ online leftist. Ignore them
Canadian musician David Rovics (@drovics) wrote a song for our campaign to free Ehsan Ali & persecuted leaders of the AAC Gilgit-Baltistan. Much appreciated!
'To defend the people's rights, they formed a commitee... Led by a man known as Ehsan Ali' 🎵

🚨🗓️ On June 4th we will organise another international day of action to free our comrades in Gilgit-Baltistan. Our last one played a crucial role in getting our comrades released – and with your help, we’ll make this an even bigger success! More info 👉https://t.co/ncz8qAkZ4E
PAKISTAN: Seven members of the Gilgit-Baltistan Awami Action Committee (AAC) have been arbitrarily detained for over 45 days under Pakistan’s anti-terrorism law, solely for peacefully exercising their rights to assembly and expression. The charges stem from allegations that 13 AAC members made “anti-state” speeches during an Iftar dinner on 8 March and made plans to arrange a protest, all rights guaranteed under international human rights law.
Among those detained is 70-year-old lawyer and AAC chairperson Ehsan Ali, whose continued detention has raised grave concerns regarding his right to life and due process. Despite applications filed by his lawyers requesting hospitalization, Ehsan was denied appropriate medical care until his condition drastically worsened. He was transferred to the hospital only after developing pneumonia and losing consciousness while in police custody. Ehsan has been under police guard at District Head quarter Hospital Gilgit along with two other AAC activists, Ibrar Bahoro and Hasnain Ramal. His lawyers have raised concerns that given his underlying heart condition and current health, the care being provided at the current medical facility is inadequate.
In addition, other ACC activists named in the case have been forced to curtail their right to freedom of movement, association, peaceful assembly and freedom of expression out of fear of arrest and remain unable to campaign for the upcoming elections in Gilgit-Baltistan on 7 June 2026.
Amnesty International calls on the Pakistani authorities to immediately release all detained AAC activists and drop all charges against them related to their peaceful activism. Pending release, the authorities must ensure that immediate access to adequate healthcare is provided to all detainees. Arbitrary detentions of ACC members must not be used to curtail the rights guaranteed under international human rights law, including in the lead up to, during and after the elections in Gilgit-Baltistan.
@tuffluffjimmy Our Pakistani section has formed and led the AAC in Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir which defended subsidies on essential goods. Our comrades have then been arrested and the Pakistani state is attempting to kill our comrade Ehsan Ali in prison to clamp down on them
Some of the responses to this from ‘purists’ are extremely hypocritical.
How many beating their chest have used Uber? Or Air B&B, or have pirated a movie, illegally downloaded a song, used paywall unblocker to read articles. I bet most.
@LEscapology @MSpavin1917 I personally think this is more reflective of the pressure of petit bourgeois online opinion. It’s very easy to get caught up in it when your activity is mostly based on it as with the sects. I don’t think most people on the streets will have the same reaction
Iran's AI-generated propaganda videos have been viewed up to a billion times by people across the world.
Let me rephrase that: an oppressed country that has been bombed, sanctioned, and demonised by US imperialism for decades has been able to successfully beat their enemies at their own propaganda game, using (genuinely funny and well-crafted) Lego-themed internet memes.
In doing so, Iran's propagandists have been able to make tens of millions of ordinary people – from the United States to the Middle East – laugh at the idiocy of the West's blundering politicians; make them feel rage at the crimes and hypocrisy of the 'Epstein class'; and has helped them to connect the dots between the Epstein files, militarism, racism, profiteering, and corruption.
That is quite a profound thing, in my opinion. The fact that the imperialists are losing the propaganda war, and that millions of people are being awakened to the truth of the situation – that is something communists and class fighters in the West should celebrate, and even learn from.
If, at this moment, you are choosing to quibble over the ethics of AI-generated graphics, I think a lot of things have flown straight over your head – or lack thereof, in some cases.
