@RushingBaseball So, hitters who don't take these types of swings have a higher "bottom 10%" and will also have higher averages (on that leaderboard)

@RushingBaseball Depends on the source you use. The Savant leaderboard takes the average of a hitter's top 90% of swings (including whiffs and foul balls). This isn't in that 90%, but it still pulls down the average by shifting his "top 90%" downward
