Tamworth Football Club Statement:
Tamworth Football Club would like to update supporters on our earlier post regarding our over night break in.
We are very disappointed this morning to find areas of the ground had been targeted.
Various items have been taken such as laptops, alcohol, chocolates, amplifier, microphones and charity boxes.
These targeted areas have also been damaged and repairs are now underway.
We are asking our local community to be aware of any items that could be available to purchase such as Lenovo Thinkpad Laptops which twenty five have been taken and were used by our Tamworth Academy Scholarship Programme as part of their education.
Our CCTV footage has picked up two people in the ground at 2:27am this morning. We are asking for residents who live on Castle View and Cross Street to check any cameras and doorbell cameras to see if they have picked up any movement.
