💬 🇲🇽 Raul Jimenez on his return to Wolves | #WWFC
“It feels really amazing. It’s exciting to be back there, where I lived my best years as a footballer. I want to keep pushing like that, as it was my first time, so I can bring the team back to where it deserves to be.
“First of all, I want to get Wolves back to the Premier League, and then score as many goals as I can. I also want to be a leader in the dressing room, be a really important part of the team, and not only on the pitch, but outside of the pitch as well, and be an example of how to work inside and outside the pitch.
“I’m really glad to be back and to be back part of the pack again. Once a wolf, always a wolf.”

🗣️ Rob Edwards on re-signing Raul Jimenez #WWFC
“He’s another player, like Tripps – and it will be the case with anyone we sign this summer – because they’re not signing now to play in the Premier League, they’re signing to play for Wolves.
“I’ve been fed up of hearing over the years when a new player is signed and they say, ‘It’s always been my dream to play in the Premier League’. What I want to hear from players is that they want to play for Wolves.
“Obviously right now there’s not Premier League football, but we really hopefully there is going forward in the years after, but Raul wants to come to Wolves, and he wants to help Wolves, because it’s Wolves. That’s the exciting thing about him and Tripps, and anyone who signs in this window, it’s because they want to be here at this football club, not just to play in the Premier League or play in England.”

@TalkingWolves What players do we think Rob was talking about in his post match interview? Players like Joao Gomes because of his quality that would never stay or players that have simply downed tools?
@thelastfling@williambroome Very optimistic, so you should be could be an amazing end to the season for you guys. But his recruitment (who he was in charge of) at wolves was terrible. Hopefully he is kept away from it
