@LLysowski This was 15-years ago, but a stark reminder to your coach and GM what happens when you have no one on your team capable of protecting your star players.
@AdamSchefter@PaulHembo 2026 will the final season the Bills can use the push sneak unless they resign #64 O'Cyrus Torrence who will be a free agent after next season. He plays an important role in pushing the shopping cart to the check-out line.
@RapSheet Cook should have an easier time transitioning to the Bills offensive than Moore did. Cook has the advantage of having worked with current quarterback coach Ronald Curry and offensive coordinator Joe Brady while the three were in New Orleans working under HC Sean Payton.
@JeffMarek My emotions are parked in the valet lot. I need to watch 10 games with a healthy UPL, Kesselring, Greenway and Benson in the lineup to evaluate further.
James Cook has been on record as saying "he likes his money. " Management has already gifted him three "hold in" days. The biggest thing that changed today was that Beane and McDermott brought him in the office, shut the door, called his agent and told them both that moving forward, he will be fined for everyday he does not participate in mandatory practices. Time to end the distraction and focus on the start of the season less than four weeks away.
Goals against needs to improve significantly from last season. They gave up 287 goals against and most likely need to let in 40 less to win 7-8 more games and 14-16 more points. The addition of Kesselring and Timmins should help what is on paper, a pretty talented defensive group.
@AdamSchefter@agetzenberg $5.3 million in cap savings by trading him. The more boring move would be to use that savings toward extending three key offensive linemen #64, 66 and 76. Last time I checked, the game was still won or lost in the trenches.
Players like Kesselring are very difficult to find. Trading the 9th pick to Washington for Tom Williams wasn't going to work. The team's core players need to know someone has their backs when they get railroaded and no one answers the bell. Thompson and Dahlin are breathing easier today.
@Rainmaker1973 The U.S. has a vast network of highways built in the 1950βs. Europe doesnβt. Most people enjoy the freedom of driving their own car over trying to squeeze into an over-crowded urban train.
Let's please stop the discussion on Josh Allen's play and start focusing in on the play of our offense line. What I saw Monday night was an OL group that got beat pretty consistently in the trenches, the place where football games are won or lost. If this poor OL play continues, I expect our QB will feel the need to play "hero ball" and be suspect to game-changing mistakes. Football is and will always be a team game.
The team better figure out quickly that they still have a big bull's eye of their backs. The media won't give the Bills any love, but NFL players know which teams they need to bring their "A" game. The Steelers came to play last night, expect the Bears to do the same next Saturday.
@ChrisBrownBills No one should be surprised that Coach Tomlin would have the Steelers fired up especially after The Bills destroyed them last season. Regardless of preseason, one team clearly had 8/19 circled on the calendar.
@RobertKennedyJr Thank you for sharing the legacy of your dad and uncle with us. America needs to understand our history, our core values and how we can all heal and proper as a great nation.
