When the current Olympic hosts hand off the torch to the next hosts at the closing ceremony, these guys will pass it to the Washington Nationals racing presidents
A group of Quaker congregations is suing the Trump administration for revoking a policy that prevented ICE agents from making arrests in locations like houses of worship, playgrounds, schools and hospitals.
Noah Merrill, general secretary of the New England Quakers, argues the lawsuit relates to freedom of religion in the U.S., telling @majorCBS, "Our claim is not simply on behalf of people who might be subject to enforcement activities or deportation, but on behalf of all people."
Witnessing this as I left the Trump victory party moved me to tears. These people have been slandered and demeaned. They are good people. Patriots of all backgrounds who love this country and came together to make it great again. 🇺🇸
I screamed when I saw Deb Haaland speak with the backdrop of our beloved Tsé Bit’aí (Shiprock Rock) at the DNC.
I cried when she spoke her Keres Language in introducing herself.
And I stand by her as we continue to push & lead the stewardship of our Earth Mother 🌎✊🏽🌱
Hereee we go! It's almost fall. We'll have flu, RSV, and Covid-19 vaccines. It’s hard to keep track, so here are the what, who, and when.

Gov. Tim Walz: "There I was, a 40-something high school teacher with young kids, zero political experience, no money, and running in a deep-red district. But you know what? Never underestimate a public school teacher."
Tim Walz rails against LGBTQ+ book bans: "While other states were banning books from their schools, we were banishing hunger from ours... and even if we wouldn't make those same choices for ourselves, we have a golden rule: Mind your own damn business"
This is a huge line.
Gov. Tim Walz: "Freedom. When Republicans use that word, they mean that the government should be free to invade your doctor's office. Corporations free to pollute the air and water. Banks free to take advantage of customers. But when we Democrats talk about freedom, we mean your freedom to make a better life for yourself and the people you love. The freedom to make your own health care decisions. And, yeah, your kids' freedom to go to school without worrying they'll be shot dead in the halls."
I’m sorry for calling it out, but this man has been on the verge of tears this entire convention, so I’m just going to say it: This man is called to service. People get called into politics for lots of reasons. Power. Money. Ego. Tim is here for one thing: to serve this country.
