Every so often, I'm reminded that Canberra in the 1920s was built to be a class stratified society, and rather than fixing it, we've erected monuments to it and frozen the suburbs in heritage overlays to prevent us from addressing what was described as "a caste system" in 1927.
"Can't live in lockdown forever" BUT DON'T SACRIFICE OUR YOUNG. Restrictions mustn't lift until young have vaccine access equity; they carry highest caseload yet lowest vaccination. Without vaccination, young will have highest caseload & therefore highest numbers in hospital.
