@DuckieLouise Fall off the wagon is the perfect way to describe it. I keep a pretty strict day to day schedule for work, but if my sleep or routine is thrown off one time it’s really hard to get back into it. WFH has been a blessing bc getting ready is simple, and I just log in at 8:50

Because when I was undiagnosed, I genuinely felt like a worthless failure. I’m being vulnerable here cause it is a sensitive topic, but my point is that we could all serve to give others more grace. I swear your friend that’s 20 mins late isn’t trying to be an asshole

I’ll weigh in on this as a person with adhd that has struggled with timeliness my whole life.

It took me to my mid twenties and a diagnosis to get ahold of why I had such trouble being on time. It’s not because I was gleefully wasting time on bs. Never is.

I'm so tired of lateness being viewed as a moral failing. I've been shamed for it my whole life because it's framed as "disrespect" (and no, it hasn't helped me be more punctual) and if I lost out on a major life opportunity because of it I don't think I could have ever recovered

When I’m late, forget an appointment, miss an important date or birthday, I feel genuinely terrible. But it’s not bc I don’t care. I just don’t remember things like everyone else. It’s really just that simple. I’ve had to work on not beating myself up every time I make a mistake
