There are probably 30 million or so illegal immigrants in America

There were 20 million before Biden, according to Yale, and 10 million or more crossed into America under his regime

But deporting them, far from being the impossible task it's presented as, would be a simple 5 step process:

First, mandate E-Verify

Second, make it a strictly enforced and severely punished crime to hire any illegal immigrants as employees, contractors, or otherwise

Third, introduce a severe tax on remittance payments the illegals and many legal immigrants send home (these are typically sent through Western Union or a similar service, so taxing money wires sent out of the country and not part of a business transactionwould be relatively simple)

Fourth, start making examples of the employers that violate the mandate. Whether it's jail or a severely punitive fine, send agents to the meat-packing plants, large farms, hotels, and so on. Hit a few large businesses and a few small ones to show it'll be enforced against everyone.

Fifth, make similar examples out of the worst of the illegal immigrants, and a few normal ones. The child killers, the r*pists, and then just a few normal joes that work well. Make the point that anyone will be deported

When paired with remittance taxation and employers quaking in their boots about severely punitive reactions to hiring illegals, and the point made that deportations will be carried out if necessary, self-deportation should ensue

With no way to send much money home or any way to make much money here, you'll see a huge outflow of most of them. The only ones remaining, at that point, will be the ones it is much easier and more popular to go after - the gangsters, drug dealers, and so on who aren't part of the legitimate economy - and they can just be rounded up and deported

Paired with this should be mandating proof of legal residency to attend a government-supported school, obtain welfare benefits, rent living accommodations, and so on. Those would be quite helpful but are probably less necessary than the other steps

And, of course, the border must be defended moving forward. Preferably with armed guards shooting on sight, as with the Dominican Republic and Haiti. But, again, forcing self-deportation of the many millions is really the critical step
