Worcester CID are appealing for information following a sexual assault on Weds 15 July.

At around 5.15pm a man entered a property in Blakefield Road, St John’s, #Worcester and sexually assaulted a woman.

Detective Sergeant Dan Fenn said: “While incidents like this are extremely rare, extra patrols are in the area today supporting and reassuring the local community and an investigation is under way. Specially trained officers are supporting the victim."

Karl Wilkinson, 31yrs, of Ronkswood, Worcester has today been sentenced to 30 weeks imprisonment and served with a 5yr restraining order.

Carrington bridge is fully closed in both directions again whilst emergency services are working

City bridge currently still open in both directions but will need to close shortly for contraflow system
