Grace will be accompanied on piano by the Cathedral’s very own Assistant Director of Music, Nicholas Freestone, with whom she has enjoyed several wonderful collaborations in the past.

Grace enjoys a busy and varied freelance career working with some of the UK's leading orchestras, including the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. She was recently awarded her Master of Studies in Music Performance from the University of Oxford.

Grace and Nick would be delighted to see you at the concert for a heartwarming start to the festive season where you’ll be transported by the sounds of well-known Christmas classics including The Nutcracker and The Snowman in this beautiful setting!

We have recently refreshed our 'Adopt a Piece of History' scheme. This offers the opportunity to adopt one of the Cathedral's historical objects to help with ongoing conservation and maintenance costs.

Objects include sculptures, stained glass and medieval misericords.

Adoptions can make wonderful Christmas gifts (and other occasions) and can include a personal dedication.

October Half Term 2025

🏮 Autumnal Lanterns
This October Half Term we warmly invite you to come and have a go at making your own autumnal lantern that can add light to the forthcoming darker nights.
This is a free family friendly drop-in activity (donations and jars appreciated)!
Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 October, 11am – 1pm, underneath the West Window in the Nave.
No need to book, just turn up and join in!

⛪ Tower Climbs
The tower will be open to climb on the hour on Tuesday 28, Wednesday 29, Thursday 30 and Friday 31 October. The tower will then close for the year.

✨ Discover Christ in Majesty
College Hall will be open daily now until Sunday 2 November, 10am-4pm, to explore the 13th Century sculpture which would have once overlooked the monks as they ate in College Hall.
