I have never felt like X has been a positive space. My understanding of Grok AI and those behind it furthers my indifference. For the foreseeable future I won’t be using X. I can’t be complicit. Stop the rot, #stopthegrok
See you on another platform ✌️
What a privilege, what a trick
Writing poetry with beats that are sic
We rhymed, we performed, and our poetry was greater,
Than Dave’s awesome tune about his “BIG POTATAH!”
Creating our bangers-our big floor filler
We loved our day with the @wordguerrilla#beatpoetry
Our visit today made poetry sweet
It mashed with our minds & gave our ears a treat
We bounced, we rapped, the lyrics-we spat
Were played over beats and melodies phat
Our tunes were spicy-no time for vanilla
But that’s what you get from a day with @wordguerrilla#thanks#inspired
"Word Guerrilla has a remarkable way with words, and his powerful delivery brings poetry to life in a way that truly captivates his audience..."
It's like I always say: words have the power to set us free!
I always have great school visits but this week the schools have been amazing! Big respect to Longlands Primary in Kent and Roade Primary in Northamptonshire.
Well done Harry, for creating this powerful poster at home with a very strong message - everyone can see it as they pass the information board. @BridgewaterPrim
National Poetry Day on the 2nd October and the theme is play. Here is a short palindromic piece (meaning it can be read backwards) about my favourite game to play, Tetris. @Tetris_Official#natioanalpoetryday
Having performed many pieces in rotation for the last six years, I felt it was time to take my them from the stage to the page. It is now happening and my book will soon be complete.
Word Guerrilla’s getting published!
I am back working in schools developing creativity, wordplay and performance. In the last few weeks I have been on tour, working in Hull, Scarborough, and Norwich.
I am absolutely buzzing to be at @CamperCalling this weekend compering Word Guerrillas at The Woodlands Stage. Running from 11:30am until 4:30pm daily with spoken word, comedy and conversation. If you are there, don't miss my gameshow, Competition Calling at 11:30am.
On Sunday 13th July at 1:00pm, I will be hosting a 'This Grief Thing' grief gatherings Delapré Abbey in Northampton. These are spaces for people to come and talk about grief. Tickets are free and available on the https://t.co/vv4GXQYw0P website.
Well, that's a wrap for working with schools this academic year! Big up to all the organisations and thousands of young people I have worked with since last September. Words have the power to set us free: read, write and express yourself!
