Becoming a mother, hands down, is the most satisfying and fulfilling piece of my entire life.
There is no greater love than your child and the unconditional love they give to you.
I watch my children grow everyday, I stayed to raise them and continue to stay home and homeschool them because I cannot get enough time with them. Everyday, I wish I had more children,(perhaps not Godโs plan). But I look upon them and I know the essence of true joy.
Being a mother is the arch of the story. Donโt let anyone sell you on anything different.
Giving of yourself for them is for the betterment of them and strengthens you. If society reframed the focus of the lens to realize the miraculous nature of children and the essence they give when given to, the world could fundamentally shift.
If you choose excellence in mothering, you will never have sacrificed because you will watch the most beautiful bloom unfold and it will bring tears to your eyes that you were the nurturer to those fascinating flowers.
Choose them and immerse yourself in that role without regret.
A 24-year-old Polish tennis player arrived in Paris last week ranked 114th in the world, with no sponsors, no guaranteed income, and no certainty she could even pay for her hotel room.
She had to win three qualifying matches just to enter the French Open main draw. Prize money is only paid at the end of the tournament, so a Polish sports drink brand quietly stepped in and covered her hotel bill.
Her name is Maja Chwalinska. And today, she plays in the French Open final.
Before this tournament, she had won exactly one Grand Slam main draw match in her entire career. She had battled depression so severe that in 2021 she couldn't get out of bed. She underwent knee surgery in 2022. She spent years grinding through small tournaments across Europe just to stay afloat.
Then she arrived in Paris, won three qualifiers, and kept winning. Zheng Qinwen. Elise Mertens. Maria Sakkari. Diana Shnaider. Nine straight matches. One set dropped.
She is now the first qualifier in French Open history to reach the final. The last time a qualifier reached a Grand Slam final, it was Emma Raducanu at the 2021 US Open. Raducanu won.
By simply making the final, Chwalinska has earned more prize money than her entire career combined. The runner-up cheque alone is $1.6 million. If she wins today, she takes home $3.25 million.
One week ago she couldn't pay for her hotel room.
@_carmen_dioxide Itโs not a feeling. The action of slaughtering an innocent life because of imperfection is morally inferior, not because of a feeling but bc of killing an innocent life.
Pretty simple to understand when you have morals.
Slavery was pretty popular once too!
But, the Underground Railroad and abolitionists didnโt think it was.
Popular doesnโt equal morally sound or even sound.
Cruelty and death and the slaughter of innocent is still that regardless of how popular it is to slaughter innocent life.
Iโd prefer not to fit in with the popular crowds. And Iโd prefer valuing innocent life.
@fwprism This is disgusting. The world is selfish. These parents were selfish and lack moral clarity. People are bereft of basic human decency. We know this by how we treat the innocent and the vulnerable and people like this would slaughter them.
@NDRepublicans The pro-life side doesnโt negate things that can contribute to more difficult circumstances, we simply donโt believe it is okay to take the life of innocent children.
Itโs not that complicated.
