Words for Lunch is a nutrition and literacy program for Hayward kids and families. Participating kids receive a free lunch and participate in reading activities

Today is the last day for Words for Lunch. Another summer in the books. Thank you to all of the volunteer readers, library staff, as well as all of the participating kids and their families. It was a fun summer and we’ll be back next year.
