➡️ LIL JIM BOB IS ON THE EPL FOR MEDICAL REASONS - Lil Jim Bob is a kitten with an elbow injury that requires surgery to either repair (reduce the luxation) or amputation. We are also treating Lil Jim Bob for ringworm. Behaviorally, she is fearful but has allowed medical handling without escalation. This evaluation/diagnosis means that LIL JIM BOB will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Lil Jim Bob accepts and appreciates head, neck, and full body pets. Her body loosens and she begins to roll. While her purr starts out quiet it quickly becomes loud. Lil Jim Bob allows pickup, her body tenses slightly and her tail tucks half way but she does not fidget. When the assessor begins to give her neck scritches, she leans into the assessors hand and her body relaxes. While Lil Jim Bob may require a slightly slower approach right as she settles in to make sure her positive progress continues, she shows behavior suitable for adopters with an average level of cat experience with cat parents who are preferably familiar with kitten socialization or are open to detailed counseling by staff. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻

We have assessed that Tia Mia has a bladder mass that may be cancerous. Tia Mia is comfortable at this time but due to her age and possible cancer, palliative care is recommended for her so she can live out the remainder of her life peacefully. Tia Mia can be nervous at first, but she has warmed up to the staff and has recently been friendly and tolerant of medical handling. This evaluation/diagnosis means that TIA MIA will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Meet Tia Mia! She is an affectionate, calm and loving senior cat. She is described as a couch potato and so sweet and friendly. She is known to spend most of her time lounging in the living room. Her age doesn't stop her from acting like a kitten once and a while, as she likes to play with toys and even hide & seek. Tia Mia interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻
