The “Onward and Upward Scholarship” was designed to provide financial assistance for undergraduate students enrolled at a 4-year accredited college/university in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Recipient(s) will be awarded up to $1,750 for the Spring 2021 semester.

In order to celebrate Black History month and let our voices be heard WORDS will be hosting a slam! "Complex History: A slam about the complexity of Black identity". This slam will be about exploring Black identity and experience American or otherwise and WE WANT TO HEAR IT ALL!!

If you are interested in performing, please write a piece that is reflective of the theme. This slam will be open-mic style and will be $3 for admission as a spectator or performer.
