I didn’t say that a nuclear power plant can’t be placed in the Midwest or anywhere else. I’m just arguing that people are allowed to have concerns.

It’s absolutely valid to worry about nuclear power plants being hit by a natural disaster, just like it’s valid to worry about destroying natural habitats with solar farms. Clearly the solar farm has a direct and immediate impact… 1/2

I’m just pointing out that it is absolutely valid to be concerned about nuclear energy, especially when an unforeseen and unplanned natural disasters may occur. Nuclear can still be a solution.

@NicherShell Walmart is a shit corporation that relies on the welfare state to pay it’s workers. This is a good thing, and while it’s unfortunate to lose your job there is other work out there. I’m sure 600 people in the Portland metro won’t find it all to difficult to find employment.
