@TurnerNovak I was investigating a guy running 30 accounts with Indonesian IP addresses and I was trying to figure out what tools he was using.
I found out it was AI: Actual Indonesians.
day 5 building SocialMate in public
we now support Seedance 2 and the AI workflow builder is finally running stable with no logic bugs.
forgot again to post on time, this one is for yesterday 😅
yesterday i shipped something that changes how the whole workflow builder feels.
you can now chat with the workflow builder directly. describe what you want, it builds the workflow for you. tweak it by just talking to it. no dragging nodes around if you don't want to. just tell it what to change and it updates live on the canvas.
it actually behaves like an assistant now, not just a tool.
what else i shipped:
workflow canvas viewport stays stable while you chat so nothing jumps around
added a live queue polling toggle so you can see workflows processing in real time
PiAPI fully integrated with proper media uploads, multi-asset support and dynamic model fields loaded straight from their docs
fixed mixed up AI model labels in the builder picker
provider defaults no longer overwrite fields you already cleared
added an AI mode selector per workflow node
20+ commits. all live.
still fighting YouTube and TikTok OAuth. at this point it is just living in the background 😅
attached a short video showing the AI chat and the node UI in action. what do you think? does anything feel clunky or does it look good to you? genuinely curious 👇

@RoundtableSpace Useful for wireframing and getting layout ideas down, but the real test is how well it handles actual design systems at scale. Interested to see if this helps speed up the process or just adds more cleanup work.
day 3 building SocialMate in public
today was less about new features and more about making what i built actually work reliably.
the reply automation was drafting good replies. but posting them was a mess. sessions were expiring, cookies were getting lost, retries were getting stuck forever.
so i fixed all of that.
what i shipped today:
reply automation now runs on persistent browser profiles so sessions actually survive
full X cookie state is preserved between reply sessions, no more random logouts
stuck reply publish retries now recover automatically
TikTok OAuth PKCE flow fixed
simplified the reply automation dashboard so it is actually readable
the reply bot itself is actually working really well. you have a lot of control over its personality, writing style and tone. and there is always a human in the loop. every reply goes through Telegram first, you approve or skip before anything gets posted. you could technically run it fully autonomous but for now i keep human in the loop on by default. i think that is the right call early on.
still some small bugs here and there but nothing major.
one thing i noticed though. the settings are a lot. like a lot a lot. i might add an easy mode for people who just want to connect and go without touching 20 settings.
still fighting YouTube and TikTok OAuth though. both just refuse to work and i genuinely have no idea why. some bugs just live rent free in your head. this is one of them.
if anyone has experience with YouTube or TikTok OAuth and knows what could go wrong, drop a comment. would really appreciate it 🙏

Gm. Coffee is hitting.
Seeing all these headlines about AI agents and commerce is funny when you’re actually trying to build them. Everyone is obsessed with the "agent" part but nobody talks about the fact that if your data isn't clean, the agent is just a very fast way to break your store.
We spent all night fixing a mapping issue on a client project. AI won't save you if your backend is a mess. Back to it.
Day: idk building in public Reimagine AI.
Over the last few days, we’ve been working on a Shopify integration and shifting more toward commerce and ecommerce, especially product stores and dropshipping.
We’re also planning to launch in the Shopify App Store 😃
The idea is that Reimagine handles the website design, and also Reimagine set up everything needed for the store, including products, checkout, popups, bundles, and more, with Shopify powering it underneath.
Do you think using Shopify for the store side of things is a smart move?
day 2 building SocialMate in public
today was all about one feature: AI reply automation.
the idea is simple. you watch certain accounts on X, the app monitors their posts, drafts a reply using AI and sends it to your Telegram for approval before it goes live. one tap approve, one tap skip.
what i shipped today:
full reply automation pipeline with AI drafting, review and auto-posting
the AI actually reads images and videos in posts before writing a reply
added Claude Sonnet, Claude Haiku and Gemini Flash as reply models
smart research gate so the AI looks up context before replying
you can customize the writing style and tone per bot
collapsible panels for managing multiple reply bots at once
fixed a nasty bug where switching pages would randomly switch your active project
20+ commits. all live.
the goal is that your account stays active and engaged even when you are not online.
also still fighting with Google OAuth and TikTok. YouTube keeps rejecting the connection and TikTok is throwing a "client id not found" error that just refuses to go away. some days you ship features, some days you fight OAuth. today was both.
