You heard us folks! We think this new law will largely solve CEQA lawsuits for infill housing! Why is this important? Because we need housing more than ever and every change to policy is a step forward to solving the housing crisis.
Hi!👋If you're new here, we recently launched a new podcast🎙️called The Infill Insiders, where we break down the highly complex process of infill housing development in California! Sibley Simon meets with guests to discuss CA housing policy and our best ideas to get it right!
We love zucchini, but we love reliability more. 😅
Tune in to hear Aaron Ekhouse discuss why we need to create a more reliable path for housing through CEQA!
Crossing our fingers 🤞that this New Year (and new law!!) makes housing easier to build! 🔨👷 Sibley Simon and Aaron Ekhouse of CA YIMBY discuss the new CEQA law exemption that helps propel infill housing developments forward. We need more housing and we need it now!
What’s your housing wish for 2025?
Friends from our community wrote some of their housing wishes and they’ve been our office decorations for this holiday season as well as inspiration for the new year. We'd love to hear yours!

@ULAEnriquez@BuffyWicks@GavinNewsom A grant could be right, but there are other options. We're experts in housing policy and are using new funding vehicles to build housing. Our permanent supportive housing project just won an AIA California award and another broke ground in Santa Cruz. Glad to share our approach.
@danofriel@BuffyWicks@GavinNewsom Since you asked. According to their housing element Marin County has to plan for quite a few. Very Low-Income: 4171, Low-Income: 2400, Moderate-Income: 2182, Above Moderate-income: 5652. So a minimum of 14,405 housing units by 2031.
