On Memorial Day, we honor the brave people who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. The fundamental rights we cherish—including the freedom to organize, speak freely, and assemble for fair wages—are built on the sacrifices of generations of service members.
Workers United is saddened to hear of the passing of iconic civil rights leader Reverend Jesse Jackson. He leaves behind a lifelong legacy of fighting for civil rights, from marching alongside Dr. King in the 1960s to leading Black Lives Matter protests in the 2020s.

Baristas are on strike. So guess what? Starbucks doesn’t get a dime.
We stand with the workers — not the billionaire brewing union-busting on the side. #NoContractNoCoffee

At Workers United, we say “No Matter What” because we mean it. We couldn't be prouder of our new members at Starbucks for authorizing a strike today. Their fight against outrageous union busting and to win a fair contract is the fight of a generation. Our union stands with you.
