Louise Haigh’s recent resignation as Transport Secretary has sparked debate about the realities of life for people with convictions.
In 2014, Haigh received a conditional discharge order - the lowest sanction the courts can impose - for fraud by misrepresentation. (1/3)
Now, over a decade later, her conviction is spent and next year will become protected and filtered from her record.
