Beyond the theme of the International Civil Service Conference (ICSC) 2026, these are essential pillars for strengthening governance and advancing sustainable dev't. As Nigeria advances important economic and institutional reforms, strong public institutions remain critical to translating policy ambition into tangible outcomes for citizens.

Building adaptive, digitally enabled, and innovation-driven systems is therefore central to strengthening state capability, improving service delivery, and reinforcing long-term public trust. Through the Integrated Smart States Programme (ISSP) and our partnership with the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, @UNDPNigeria remains committed to supporting a more agile and future-ready public sector in Nigeria.
