God placed you where you are at in your work, community and family for a reason. Have you ever wondered why? Attempting to answer that question may give you a true reference point that will help you see where you really are.
God wants His people to work well, regardless of whether our jobs are good, bad or indifferent. We have no special claim to enjoyable work. God wants us to thank Him for what we have.
Are you constantly busy? Is it really working for the Lord? What does it mean to truly rest in His arms? Here's a challenge: Try to shut out all the noise and simply be in His presence.
Do you see your work as the hand of God written into your own history? Can you proclaim your work as God's action in your life? It's not about you, is it? Even work is about Him.

Jesus does not need an appointment to see the CEO of Amazon, Google, or even the POTUS. He does not need their approval or wisdom. They, just like you and I, are in need of His approval. And you know what? You know Him! Today at work, remember who you are and Whom you represent!
