The @HCSDPreschool Speech/Language Team took students to an Under the Sea Language Lab today. They were immersed in the ocean, learned about marine biologists, and took a submarine into a coral reef to practice spatial and descriptive directions. #Ready4Tomorrow

Soaking up all the theme-y Halloween goodness this week! So far we’ve made @HilliardWolves witches brew, bowled with squooshy eyeballs, read a great book then painted pumpkins with @mrs_ward12. Happy Halloween!! 🎃🎃🎃

Once again, writing on the table saves the day! No matter the grade level, kids love it. Some @HilliardWolves friends learned to answer questions using language more flexibly, while another learned to categorize 🙌🏽

Sometimes I get sidetracked trying to find the prettiest activities & forget that simple stuff works. This visual helped 1 of my students sequence 2 tricky sounds together into (made-up) words. Keeping it simple here in the speech room during a super busy week! @HilliardWolves

Who knew VERBS could be so important?! They can tell us what action is happening, when it happened/is happening and even who took part in the action. Sometimes a fun visual drawn on the table helps our @HilliardWolves students put all of the pieces together!
