Last week, our Artistic Director, Thomas Coté, traveled to The Playwright's Center in Minneapolis to continue working with Franky D. Gonzalez on his solo show, Heart Stop. We had the honor of presenting this very show last December. This time around, we’ve spotted some new faces!
Today's featured artist is Yeauxlanda Kay.

In the spirit of our annual "Out of the Hat" Festival beginning November 28th, we randomly selected 6 artists to interview, and ask them some questions about who inspires them, where they see themselves in the future, and who their artistic hero's are.
Join us on December 12, 13, and 14, performed at AMT Theater, 354 West 45th Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues) Curtains at 7pm. Link in our bio to purchase tickets.
This December, Franky D. Gonzalez returns to The Workshop Theater — not only as a playwright, but now as a performer. In his solo show, Heart Stop, Franky tells us of his personal journey as a theater artist, and his lifetime struggles with his weight.
The script can be a first draft, only partially finished, or something that has been worked on many times. We are agnostic as to form and content.
