@KoreanClaret You mean they get a bye to the league stage directly right? That’s what I initially thought too but why are they put in the preliminary stage?
Why are fans mad at Celtic for making a profit? Japanese fans really need to be pointing their fingers at J. League clubs for selling their players for peanuts 😃
He’s got 2 years left on his contract which means a Japanese club most likely can’t afford him. Unless Celtic are willing to let him go on loan for a season but why would they do that? They want to make a profit.

Celtic midfielder Reo Hatate has informed the club that he wants to leave this summer.
The 28 year old joined Celtic 4.5 years ago from Kawasaki Frontale & still has two years left on his contract.

🚨Exclusive: FC Tokyo has finalized the permanent transfer of Hayato Inamura from Scottish club Celtic. An agreement has already been reached between the clubs. The transfer fee is estimated at €1.5 million. done deal 100% #稲村隼翔
@DaniJ_1995@j_football_now 100% agree. Morita makes much more sense. Love Yoshida but his time with the NT is over. Unfortunately, Morita made comments about Moriyasu so he’ll probably never be called up…
Hidemasa Morita after being eliminated by Iran: “We need instructions, guidance and a well-defined playing philosophy. We are forced to make decisions on our own, which is why we end up becoming hostages to the opponent's game, without instructions to follow.”
I know Italian clubs don’t have money anymore like before which is exactly why they need to be shopping in Japan. Buy cheap then sell for millions later.
He needs confidence and match fitness so I’m glad he was given a good 80+ mins today. Miss this guy, he’s so talented. Hope he shows us his old self in this World Cup.
I’ve seen flags on other European kits as well. And every J. League club has one in Asian competitions. Just not a fan of how they’re usually placed, like Gamba’s. Back of the collar is subtle and looks good. I remember Marinos did that before as well.

Paris Saint-Germain included a small French flag detail near the collar on the back of their kit for the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League final. The subtle patriotic element was highlighted by fans and observers in the aftermath of the club's European success, appearing on the match-worn shirts as PSG competed as the designated home side.
A ticket to a Bad Bunny concert, an annual subscription to ABC and a bag of sunflower seeds is far more than what J. League clubs receive for a player 💀
HERE WE GO!
