🚨 Canadian company “AtkinsRéalis”
is shifting its “core weight” from Saudi Arabia

An analysis of data from the Canadian company, which specializes in engineering services, consulting, major project management, and nuclear energy, revealed a “transition” being carried out by the company toward the UAE following the downsizing and cancellation of some projects associated with it in Saudi Arabia.

This gradual transition could ultimately lead to a complete departure within the next few months.

The company began operations in Saudi Arabia in 2019 to work on a number of Vision 2030 projects before many of them encountered difficulties, affecting the company’s contracts as a result.

Among the projects awarded to the company and later canceled were:

• Planning and design of the Mukaab project in Riyadh.
• Parts of the Qiddiya project.
• Parts of the NEOM project.
