The Main Street Flower Shop was a popular photo spot. Imagine how Instagram worthy it’d be now! In 2001, the Emporium was expanded, closing off the western side of Center Street.

The original Theater of the Stars in Hollywood Studios. It would be demolished and is now the entrance to Sunset Boulevard. The theater would be rebuilt at the end, and covered!

The Country Bear Jamboree used to exit through the “Mile Long Bar,” which served Pepsi products. A mirror on each side gave the illusion that the bar was a “mile long.”

My favorite ride when I was five was Mission to Mars. It would become Alien Encounter in 1994, and Stitch’s Great Escape in 2004…now sits vacant.

When WDW was being built, Bay Lake was drained to remove muck from the bottom of the lake. They discovered beautiful white sand, which was transferred to the shores of the seven seas lagoon.
