@BohdsD @Songstress28 When I lived in Salluit, most of the officers were from outside Nunavik, mostly Quebecois.

So true...I totally fried a laptop with a cup of coffee I spilled on it while frantically writing essays for finals back in my Uni days

[Jared Yates Sexton @JYSexton]

Years ago just saying the word “liquid” around your laptop would ruin it forever. Now, a person could absentmindedly pour boiling water all over it during a meeting and it appears fine.

Not that that person was me, or anything.

Pretty much my life right now...and hopefully continuing into the future!

[Stacey Hauff @stacey_hauff]

Oh to be a childless WFH young professional, casually walking their dog at 8 AM through downtown in athleisure. May your podcast be informative and your coffee fair trade, bless you.

Hilarious

One reason I don't miss living in the north...the food shortages are for real...and I'm sure it is worse now with all the supply chain issues.

[Shane Niego @ShaneConrad13]

No bread at the Northern store, ilaa there’s one loaf with mold

Not to mention working during the time of day when my energy is the best and I can get my best work done (not a morning person 😅)!

[The World is My Classroom @worldismyclass]

I feel this. My work projects are cyclical -it would be much more productive focusing on doing the work when needed rather than trying to squeeze a huge workload into a 40hr week/other times having to do random tiring busy work to fill in my time sheet. https://t.co/NLy63ASYmH

Retweet if you agree that our governments should send a package of rapid tests & N95 masks to every household, every week, for free.

Offices benefit extroverts who are great at shmoozing.

Remote work benefits anyone who delivers results.

@CBCNews It’s interesting that you can be given only a laptop, & told you can work from home. You want to discuss adjusting pay to working from home, we can start after we discuss the cost of setting up a home office, monitors, printers, paper/ink, office supplies and high speed Internet.

[The World is My Classroom @worldismyclass]

Another good reason to work from, if you can #wfh #remotework https://t.co/BLirElVYAA

[The World is My Classroom @worldismyclass]

I can't even...🤦‍♀️. I'll never understand relationships where people think it's a normal thing to restrict your partner from having their own passions and trying to better all of your lives. Especially when she took care of a newborn, held down a full time job at the same time!

[The World is My Classroom @worldismyclass]

So true...I don't miss my freezing classrooms!

[Jeanna Smialek @jeannasmialek]

New labor market theory: People prefer remote work because they remember that office thermostats are all absolutely and inexplicably set to "freezing"

My boyfriend was trying to kill me and made me hike this "Rigormortis" trail ...

An interesting Australian Aboriginal technique to aid memory involving association with places and storytelling. It makes sense to me since some of the clearest memories I have are those associated with places I've been to and beautiful locations. https://t.co/bQkde2zdKN
