Kanye West should never have been invited to headline Wireless.
This government stands firmly with the Jewish community, and we will not stop in our fight to confront and defeat the poison of antisemitism.
We will always take the action necessary to protect the public and uphold our values.
I’ve been critical of Wireless the past couple of years but they stood on business regarding this Ye drama. Ultimate chess move would be hosting the festival outside of the country with Ye returning as headliner.
@ladidaix@Kurrco Pretty sure they were aware and none of them cared until outside pressure was applied. Similar thing already happened this year with Wiley and the Mobo’s where there was pressure due to his past remarks but thankfully the Mobo’s didn’t fold. Now all eyes on Wireless…
@linmeitalks I have a feeling that the 3 days at Wireless being the same dates as Jay’s 3 Yankee shows is not a coincidence. LA’s stage design proved he is suited to stadiums so this move feels more like a message. 3 separate days at Wireless is beneath Ye, a stadium would make more sense.
I don’t know what numbers Ye will do with Bully but I know this. The fans will support. The media will focus on sales amidst his past remarks as they can’t look past first week sales today but it won’t matter because Ye will have defined another culturally impactful era.
If UFO’s (as in flying saucers) are proven to be real and no longer conspiracy, I would place my money on that technology being made by ancient humans as opposed to aliens.
