@wanderlust1587@Andxion_ Would be closer to Greece in Euros 2004. Not even a dark horse back then, yet somehow won the whole thing and has qualified only twice since then
@Andxion_ They have good players and home crowd behind them so if they get in the zone, so to speak, , they can go surprisingly far but winning the whole thing is incredibly unlikely, would require several teams to massively underperform. So I say no, they can't
@ArblasterMark@ioangrillo Hydration break is just a polite way to say commercial break. So they'd squeeze those in even if it took place in Finland in january
@OfficialVizeh Sure there's a lot to complain about off-the-pitch stuff and the ridiculous commercial brakes but for me the biggest complain is the shitty hours these games are played. Games starting at 22.00 at earliest makes it quite hard to watch the games when you still need to go to work
@jerryagar1010 A tie, a draw, whatever you want to call it, is underappreciated. Quite often it's what both sides deserve from the game instead of a "forced" victory to one team or another. It still pisses me off they got rid of ties is finnish hockey league in 04-05 season
@ooh_mow I mean, if you travel to a country with a somewhat loose schedule between the games, you are not going to sit in your hotel room between the games are you? Doesn't matter if it's in Dallas, Houston, Oslo or Budapest you do what tourists do
@TheLiarbility@AdamMeagher@mbs59er No, oddly enough, WC is played even during the olympic year. So we have both olympic gold team, the US and World champion, Finland, decided the same year.
