Reminder Sarah attempted become MP for Bolton South East in 2017, held the position of Mayor of Cheshire East before finally being elected MP for Runcorn and Helsby in 2025. She has also been an independent, Conservative and now Reform.
Sounds a lot like a careerist using constituencies to benefit herself to us.
Does anybody else find this extraordinarily arrogant of Burnham?
He is already explaining what he may or may not do in government, assuming he can simply trample on the shoulders of the people of Makerfield to get there.

@365__Football Wouldn't expect people from a country younger than Kikkoman Soy Sauce to understand how character and history makes a better football stadium than big screens and fancy architecture.
Jenrick is honestly the worst of the worst of the type of politicians who see which way the wind blows and throw themselves in that direction.
If he’s willing to brazenly lie about something so demonstrably untrue then what on earth else will he be lying about to the public.
How the fuck have we got to this?
Jenrick is trying to defend the indefensible by outright lying.
I never thought I'd be defending Badenoch but what Reform have done crosses a line.
They are a danger to democracy in the UK.

Ah yes you’re right apologies I thought you were talking about EBITDA. In that case maybe take this except directly from Tesco “Tesco PLC reported an adjusted operating profit (EBIT) of £3.15 billion for the 53-week financial year ending February 28, 2026”. So that’s still the total profit they reported.
EBITDA is a pre-profit metric. Adjusted profit is the final and headline profitability metric on annual balance sheets. You claimed £3bn is the EBITDA and that the profit would then be a sub-total beneath that but that’s just factually wrong. Tesco’s EBITDA was c£5bn after the non-operating costs are taken off that they reported just over £3bn in profit.
