We were studying Numbers 13 and 14 this morning, and I told my family this story again.

When I was posted to Anambra State for NYSC, I was later deployed to Onitsha. I had been rejected at my place of primary assignment, so I was staying with an older corps member, Lanre, opposite Dennis Memorial Grammar School (DMGS).

Every evening, we would gather at the DMGS compound, and some corps members would tell us about “the reality of the land.”

“Corpers here don't eat meat.”

“We don't eat fish.”

“Life here is hard.”

Bla bla bla. 😅

One evening, I couldn't take it anymore. I challenged the speaker:

“My own corper life will be different. I will eat fish. I will eat meat. I will buy a TV and video player—back then, owning those was a big-boy thing. I will live in a flat. And if I tarry in this land, I will buy a car.”

They laughed.

Look at this dreamer! 😂

Someone who didn't even have a place to work was talking about eating meat, buying a TV and living in a flat.

Well, the following day, I received news that I needed to travel to Lagos for an interview.

I went to Lagos, got the job and was reposted back to Onitsha, Anambra State.

With that job, I became one of the highest-paid corps members around.

I ate fish.

I ate meat.

I got my TV and video.

I lived in a flat.

And something even more beautiful happened:

I started feeding other corps members at DMGS.

This morning, while studying the story of the twelve spies in Numbers 13 and 14, I remembered that experience.

Ten spies saw the giants and concluded, “We can't.”

Joshua and Caleb saw the same land and believed, “We can.”

Sometimes, the people around you are not lying about the difficulties. They are simply describing the land according to the limits of what they can see.

Don't allow another person's experience to become the prophecy over your own life.

You may be standing in the same land, facing the same giants, but your story can still be different.

Be careful who describes your land to you.

Apart from taxes, there are duplicated agencies that are doing the same work.
Having a Dangote in different sectors is good but the government has a lot to do to let them thrive.

As a baker for almost 2 decades, we give customers 5 days. Any loaf supplied and has done more than 5 days can not be returned and assumed not to be edible. Some loaves use 10-14 days before growing mold while some don't. This has to be investigated.

My name is Evangelist CJ Favour,
I am a baker, and I challenge the said bakery to bake their bread under the NAFDAC supervision and let’s see how long that one will last.

Any bread that stays longer than 2weeks is poison: That chemical that is used in preserving it is deadly and harmful to the human body.

We can’t keep silent and allow this evil to thrive. If we step back and allow this innocent woman go to jail, it’s really a pity for us all… because she said the truth.

This woman literally was saving lives by just that post. When I first saw the video I knew she was making a point but I didn’t bother to say anything, not until when I saw the oppression from the said bakery.

If you are sure, COME OUT AND PUBLICLY show us the ingredients. Show us the chemical.

I repeat, Any chemical that keeps bread fresh for more than 2 weeks is deadly, harmful and poisonous to the human body.

We can’t see the truth and keep quiet because of fear for the rich. We rather die than keep quiet and allow evil thrive.

I speak as a baker who has baked bread for about 16years

Instead of coming out to clear the air, you went on to file a lawsuit. This is wickedness!
