@merzilla That is what I wanted to say with my tweet. I feel the things that are said here today on Twitter are emotional tweets which IMO put the core team in a bad daylight. I never saw a rejection for intergrating the typo3_console package in the core...

@merzilla No, I'm not saying that. The context differs here alot for both topics. I won't repeat the history here what happened with the testing stuff but IMHO that escalated way too much. Beginning a new discussion about joining forces now feels wrong to me because of that history.

@IchHabRecht @helhum @psychomieze IMHO that is different, the testing framework was already in the core and extracted. Console is outside the core and having multiple approaches can result in a better core implementation by getting the best out of all. Joining forces is needed when working on core implementation

@IchHabRecht Why didn't you join forces when we extracted the testing framework from the core into a separate package? Instead you started your own package... Now we have less forces for the package we use in the core. just sayin #TYPO3
