At its best, @ABCDesignated was one of the absolute best shows on TV. A smartly written, socially conscious masterpiece of a political drama. It will be sorely missed. @ABCNetwork blew it super big time on this one.

@Halcyon_L @laneefe Thank you so much Dr. Lawrence! Dr. Neefe linked the audio blog below, and I'd be more than happy to email you a copy of the bibliography.

If this was the end for Dwyane Wade ...

1,159 games
26,036 points
6,270 assists
5,576 rebounds
1,844 steals
1,022 blocked shots
12 All-Star selections
3 NBA championships

Two other guys in NBA history have done all that: Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

@laneefe Thanks Dr. Neefe! For whatever reason, Mahara didn't feel like grabbing RSS data from Twitter...so, ended up downloading an archive of my account as an HTML file and converting it to a PDF. That seems to have done the trick!

If any 1101/1102 students/profs have had any success adding Twitter feeds into Mahara, some guidance would be greatly appreciated! #1102archsound

One day I want someone to look at me the way @schottsfired_ looks at the Mahara website after figuring it out. #1102archsound

[Vivek Garimella @wovenvivek]

turns out we've got some technical difficulties with this one, on to the next group for now!

[Vivek Garimella @wovenvivek]

Going to be live-tweeting @schottsfired_ @bbradfield65 @JordanP57951154 and @jwebb45Engl1102 's audio tour. Excited to gain valuable insights from their work!

The integration of "Washing Day" into the opening is great. Provides an extra level of depth to the page.

With finals week coming, the soundscape of my dorm's study space has changed drastically. What was once quiet solitude has been replaced by the buzz of academic intensity. I used to think I liked the quiet, but this is nice too. #1102archsound

One of my favorite sounds is the one of a basketball swishing through the hoop after a 3-pointer. Looking forward to the @NBA playoffs! #1102archsound

A fascinating theme in "Rio" was breaking down the often linked entities of disability and helplessness. The girls in Rio were strong and empowered--able to take control of their own destinies. I think more literature like this is important. #1102archsound

To expand on something we discussed w/ the Equity Champions, should we follow a utilitarian approach to equity--putting the most people in the most equitable situation possible--or should we focus energy/resources on trying to provide equity in all arenas? #1102archsound

Q11A: At the beginning of the semester, I think I read the romantic poems far more heavy-handedly than I do now. After focusing in class on how sound impacts an environment and those in it, I have learned to see a lot more nuances of the poems. #1102archsound

"Gasp!" The sound that I, and everyone else heard out of me this morning when I realized my tweets for this week weren't up! Certain sounds can key the people around you into your emotional state at the moment. #MeaCulpa #1102archsound

Question for the class: Do you think the Living Building on GT's campus will give certain people or groups a greater sense of belonging given the renewed effort for external and internal outreach it represents? #1102archsound

[Vivek Garimella @wovenvivek]

Ever the Land is a great synthesis of many of the ideas we have covered in class this semester. The ideas of place, belonging, and the Living Building Challenge are all well-represented here! #1102archsound

The sound of blowing out candles once a year is always a special one! I hear it in person, but when I'm feeling nostalgic I can always look it up on @dictionarysound! #HappyBirthdaytoMe #1102archsound

Q10A- Spinoza was a Dutch philosopher whose philosophical system Spinozism taught that everything and everyone were part of one infinite organism. He thought of the terms "God" and "Nature" as largely the same, and saw nature as a changing entity rather than static#1102archsound

I'll be recording a submission for @dictionarysound and #1102archsound this weekend, which has lead to some front-end brainstorming about how to document sound w/o trying to create it. Staying true to LB and getting out of the way of the truth is surprisingly difficult.
